We are thrilled to be a 2022 Brooklyn Arts Council Community Arts Grant recipient! These funds will be used to support La Nuestra Tango Festival in Brooklyn, NY.
We envision this festival as a new wave that ushers in awakened consciousness, values and sensibilities that are relevant to all the spaces we occupy and reflect a cultural and artistic landscape that everyone has the power to create.

This year, Brooklyn Arts Council distributed over $1,000,000 to help fund hundreds of projects by Brooklyn artists and organizations in all artist disciplines through Community Arts Grants and the new Creative Equations Fund.

Brooklyn Arts Fund is sponsored, in part, by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affair, administered by Brooklyn Arts Council.

We received over 120 individual donations and raised over $14,000 during our fundraising campaign between May 25th and June 20th. Since then we have raised an additional $3000 and received a grant from the Canada Council For The Arts through Solidaridad Tango. We are extremely grateful for all the donations, sponsorships and support, which helped to fund this first festival in Brooklyn that brought visibility to women artists in tango!

La Nuestra Tango is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of La Nuestra Tango Festival must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
